The League That Matters is a head-to-head league with no fewer than 6 teams and no more than 10. No divisions are used. The top 4 teams advance to the Big Black Fuge Bowl. The bottom 4 teams play for the BoobieBowl.

The champion is determined by the final standings on ESPN. The championship match is known as the Big Black Fuge Bowl.

Length. Team owners commit to one year. An owner who does not wish to continue must give six months’ notice to the Commissioner and the league to allow for a replacement.

In-person events. Heavily encouraged but always optional. Voting may occur digitally or in person.

The regular season begins in Week 1 of the NFL season. The playoff calendar is as configured on the ESPN league site, which this constitution defers to. Week 18 is not used.

Scoring is determined by the official ESPN fantasy football service and the score is not negotiable.

Permitted by majority vote. The league may not exceed 10 teams.

Only by unanimous vote of all team owners, excluding the owner in question.

Matchup. Resolved on QB score for the game.

Season record. Resolved on total points for the season; weekly matchup ties on total QB points for the week.

Article IX sets out the league’s bylaws. A bylaw is proposed each year by the reigning champion at the Summit and adopted by majority vote. Proposing is optional and not required; but where a proposal is put and fails, the champion must propose another, repeating until one is approved.

The Commissioner organises the Summit and the draft, sets up the league on ESPN, acts as treasurer, and is responsible for general governance of league business throughout the year.
