Art. I §2 determined the champion by final standings. Art. V §1 crowned the winner of the Big Black Fuge Bowl. In a season where the Bowl winner is not first in the final standings, the constitution named two champions.

The conflict is resolved in favour of final standings. The Big Black Fuge Bowl is the championship match and the last match of the playoffs, and the playoffs produce the standings from which the champion is taken.
